The crossing swords national symbol of Qatar inspired the design of the Lusail Hotel which became a modern landmark in Doha. The first tower includes a 5 Star Hotel with multipurpose halls, spas, conference and meeting facilities, swimming pools, and restaurants of different styles and themes such as the Indian restaurant on the first-floor level, not to mention the large ballroom of approximately 1,200 sqm that can be divided into 3 separate spaces. Katara 5-star Hotel has a mix of 372 keys varying from a 1-bedroom gold suite, junior gold suite, and standard gold suite with the Katara presidential suite occupying the top two floors. The common floors between both towers consist of 100 keys of branded apartments mixing between studios and 1,2 and 3-bedroom apartments. Mimar scope of work was to develop the drawings of all the above-mentioned spaces excluding the branded apartments into fully detailed sets ready to be executed on site.
